About the course

What will we do at this class?

We'll go through all the basics of setting up your garden, and work on plotting out the spacing for your selected plants for this season.

Who should attend?

All beginning gardeners! Kids may be a bit bored but are welcome.

What should I bring?

Pen and paper.

What will attendees receive?

"Seed starting kit" Pot, vegetable seed, and handouts.

Instructor: Amanda Sattler-

Amanda Sattler is a life long gardener and owner of Uproot Blooms flower farm for the past 2 and a half years. After going to school for Agriculture in California and attending "farm school" for a year, her family moved to Kentucky in 2019 for the opportunity to start their own little farm and homestead. You'll always find Amanda with dirt under her nails and a kid or two hanging on her coveralls.
