About the course

What will we do at this class?

We will begin with a brief overview of the art of bonsai. A discussion of the ecology and care needs of each species that students have selected will follow. We will review the existing design of the trees and discuss options to embellish or improve what the tree has to offer. Based on the student's selection of the most pleasing design, the instructor will help guide the tree onto that chosen path. Care guidelines for fall and into the next growing season will be provided.

Those interested in horticulture and this fascinating practice of creating and connecting with nature in miniature. Perfect for the Bonsai Beginner - no prior experience necessary.
