A jam-packed hour of veggie-garden-basics! But don’t let that fool you - we will cover a ton. Soil. Raised bed, in ground, or planters. Herbs anyone? Trellising. Watering. How to feed! How to read seed packets. When to buy seed v/s veggie plant starts.


This is for the absolute beginner. Maybe your parents had a garden growing up, but you don’t really remember the specifics. Or perhaps you love the idea of supplementing your own grocery runs with high quality produce. Possibly it just seems kinda fun!! This class is for you.

About the course

What will we do at this class?

Walking and talking. We will start at the picnic tables with some garden theory, and then we will be walking the garden shop talking about the details, and even get our hands into planting a few things.


Who should attend?

No plant experience required! Everyone. We also think it would be fun to attend with a friend!


What should I bring?

Your glorious self. A notebook and pen. 

Any questions you want answered.
